The UK has the most sellers in eBay's top 1,000, according to a list compiled by WebRetailer.com.
The list was commissioned by the site from eBay based on customer feedback ratings over a six month period in lieu of sales data, which is not available.
The UK had 292 sellers in the list with a total feedback score of 2,365,000, according to the data, which tracked feedback scores accrued over the last six months to measure recent performance.
It was followed by China with 250 sellers present in the list and a total feedback score of 1,984,000. The US and Germany were third and fourth on the list with 223 entrants and 147 respectively.
The data was drawn from eBay sites in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, the UK and the US.
WebRetailer.com founder Andy Geldman said he used feedback scores as a 'useful approximation' of selling volumes.
Hi there! The feedback scores are actually in thousands. So UK sellers in the world's top 1,000 added 2,365,000 to their feedback in the last six months, and the Chinese sellers added 1,984,000 to their feedback.
