Flash sales website Cocosa.com will finally cease operating by the end of this week after announcing its intention to wind the company down last October.
The company, which launched in 2008, stopped trading on February 14 and will stop accepting returns on Friday (February 28). It and is asking customers to contact it directly to discuss other issues such as vouchers or credit notes to contact it as soon as possible.
The company has received praise for closing the site in an orderly manner and not cutting customers off.
Mohammed Al-Fayed acquired the site in July 2011 from Bauer Media Group but the flash sales sector has since become increasingly competitive.
Other sites in the sector include SecretSales.com, BrandAlley.co.uk and Vente-Privee.com, which is the largest operator in Europe.
It was reported last night that two potential bidders had been considering a bid for what was left of Cocosa although nothing has yet been agreed.
