White Stuff's Online Sales Rise To 16.4% Of Total Revenue

Casual wear retailer White Stuff said online sales rose 40.9 per cent to £16.3 million after it introduced a click and collect service.

The retailer said online sales in the year to April 27 made up 16.4 per cent of total sales. It said the improvement was driven by improvements to operational systems resulting in a better service that also allows customers to return goods bought online to stores.

Sales in the year increased 11.4 per cent to £99.5 million as the company cut back on discounts and sold more full-price clothing. Earnings before the inclusion of interest payments, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 52.6 per cent to £12.7 million.

Sales at its UK stores increased 6.5 per cent to £79.8 million and international sales increased 64.2 per cent.
