Fashion chain Crew Clothing has hired former Cath Kidson ecommerce chief Amy Bastow as it prepares to raise its digital game.
Bastow was previously strategy and ecommerce director at Cath Kidson and also held positions at Best Buy Europe's continental The Phone House business as multichannel director. Prior to that she was general manager at John Lewis direct.
Crew chairman Clive Beharrell told MenswearInsight: 'We are delighted that Amy is joining Crew in this key role. She brings great experience which will be key in supporting the growth plans of the business.'
Batsow told Drapers magazine: 'I want to ensure that our customers receive the same Crew experience whenever and wherever they chose to shop. I’ll be focusing on the clear communication of Crew’s brand values across store, web and catalogue.'
Last year at Cath Kidson, Bastow relaunched the website to allow local country payments and to prepare for the introduction of more foreign language sites.
Cath Kidson now accepts euros and dollars and gives options to select delivery in more than 90 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.
