Wiggle.com is generating 60 per cent of its new customers from outside the UK after rolling out tailored international websites.
The e-commerce firm, which sells bike, running and swimming gear, has introduced sites in 10 different languages to date including German, French, Italian, Chinese and Russian.
It has also introduced tailored payment collection systems to different countries using Ingenico’s Ogone system which Wiggle.com says has allowed it to better understand and navigate 'different payment cultures'.
The system allows for customised payment pages for each country displaying popular payment options specific to each country.
