My-Wardrobe Founder Andrew Curran Leaves For The Second Time

Fashion etailer My-Wardrobe.com has received another blow after it emerged last night that co-founder Andrew Curran has left the business.

He is the second director to depart in the past month following the departure of fashion director Carmen Borgonovo who left last month after only a year.

 Curran had left the business last year but had returned in November with the rescue team at Growth Capital Acquisition to buy it in a pre-pack administration deal.

 Trade magazine Retail Week reported that he has left the business ‘in the last few weeks’ leaving financial backer Steven Tucker to run the business.

 My-Wardrobe collapsed in the face of intense online competition and suggestions that the business was losing touch with its core shoppers. Curran and Tucker have been trying to re-engage shoppers and attract new brands.
