Mothercare's Olga Nazarkova Takes On Group E-Commerce Role

Mothercare's Olga Nazarkova has extended her e-commerce responsibilities across the group as the company braces for another strategic overhaul.

Nazarkova, previously head of international retail and e-commerce, has become global e-commerce director which means her responsibilities will now also include the UK. Her duties now include multi-channel development across the group's 60 markets as well as its Early Learning Centre business.

Mothercare's chief executive Simon Calver is leaving the business after just two years and is being replaced by interim chief Mark Newton-Jones.

Newton-Jones spend a decade restructuring Littlewoods catalogue business, now Shop Direct, and is expected to make a raft of changes at the business to help turn around its fortunes.
